We wanted something rustic so WOOD was it!!! We went from white stamped sheetrock to the picture you see above. It's not completely smooth, which gives it more character.
White ceiling, beige walls and laminate flooring...this is the before. There is absolutely nothing wrong with white ceilings...we have them in our home in Prattville. The wood is just more interesting in this setting. We've put a coat of watered down light blue so the wood grain is still visible.
Throwing traditional crown molding out the window, Eric had a great idea to use fun, handmade signs instead. Unique, fun to look at, and all handmade by us!
